Andrea Navedo was born in the United States and has written a number of books. Her career began on the soap operas for daytime viewers like One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later years had several supporting roles on primetime television. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977, located in The Bronx New York United States. Navedo was the first professional actress to appear in daytime dramas. From 1995 to 1997 Navedo appeared on ABC's One Life to Live in the role as Linda Soto. She was cast in Guiding Light, a CBS soap-opera on CBS from 1999 until 2000, as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she made her debut on film, playing a small role as a minor character in Girl 6. She then played as a character in New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo was as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film released in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the following year. Navedo was a recurring character in the NBC Crime Show Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. Later, he appeared on in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages as well as Blue Bloods as well as Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in several movies, such as El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo was a regular character on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 to 2013.
